About

About Artascene

Artascene started with music, fashion, and the belief that culture is better when we build it together.

Founded by Owen and Khang, Artascene came from years of DJing, putting on events around Australia, and a shared love for fashion and DIY creativity. We were always making, customising and experimenting with our own clothes while being drawn to underground brands and the people creating them.

Eventually, we started asking ourselves: why isn't there a space that brings all of this together? That question became Artascene.

Our vision is to build a storefront and platform for South-east Asian, Asian and underground streetwear brands — giving independent labels and emerging designers a place to be seen, sold and connected with audiences in Australia and, eventually, around the world.

But Artascene isn't just about clothes. It's about creating a space where music, art, fashion and community collide. A place where a DJ can play alongside a clothing launch, where a photographer can work with a designer, where artists can meet new people, and where emerging brands can find the community that believes in them.

Behind Artascene is a growing team of creators — Allish, Eric, and Gabrielle, alongside our models, photographers, artists, musicians and everyone else who has contributed to what we're building. We're surrounded by people who share the same dream: to create something genuine, independent and rooted in culture.

We're still at the beginning. But being early doesn't mean thinking small. We're building from Sydney, with our eyes on Australia and our sights set on the world.

Artascene is for the people making culture, supporting culture and becoming part of what comes next.

Art. Music. Clothes. Community. This is Artascene.
